Small Batch Products
We at Hellgate Farm are proud of our small batch products! We take the utmost care to grow a variety of hot peppers and tomatoes for our hot sauce and ketchup. Thanks to Hellgate Farm’s Culinary Coordinator, Alyssa Adkins, we currently have three varieties of hot sauce in production to tantalize your taste buds: Classic, Wild Habañero and Smokin’ Green, as well as both regular and spicy ketchup. Classic Hot Sauce
Anyone can make a hot sauce that burns off your taste buds. But, at Hellgate Farm, we’re not out to scald your tongue past all recognition. So our classic hot sauce balances medium heat with the actual, you know, flavor of peppers. Totally local, totally fresh. No taste bud sacrifice required.
Wild Habañero Hot Sauce
Some meals you want to be challenged. You want something super hot, something that mellows into a burning reward for your tongue. The heart of this sauce is a vicious little Wild Brazil pepper that adds killer kick and depth to any meal. But don’t be a hero; you’re going to need that tongue again someday. Surely, after all that, further warnings are superfluous.
Smokin' Green Hot Sauce
Our newest, grooviest sauce. Our signature blend of roasted green peppers is inspired by the southwest but grown on rooftops in Queens. This sauce has a smoky, medium-high heat. If you’re looking to up the heat from our classic red sauce, this one is a notch above.
Old fashioned tomato ketchup
Welcome back to the old days when ketchup was made with real ingredients. We use a variety of heirloom tomatoes, no preservatives, and a secret mix of spices that would make our grandparents proud.
Spicy tomato Ketchup
Introducing our Spicy Tomato Ketchup, wholesome ingredients like our Old Fashioned Tomato Ketchup but with a cayenne pepper kick!
The same hot peppers used in our hot sauce, but now in ideal pizza topping form! All peppers are sustainably grown on our rooftop farm in Long Island City and are hand ground by our dedicated farmers.
